PastPoop8/15/2003-Hard StuffI finally broke down and bought an all region dvd player. I really did not want to do it. I can't afford it, but I bought it anyways. No big deal I guess. I only owe about 2,000 dollars on my credit card. What made me buy an all region dvd player? THIS, watch the trailer and then shoot hot spunk all over your monitor. I think what sold me on it was the dudes face sliding down the wall. This is only going to be available in Europe and Asia from what I understand. It looks sexy.This movie is by Takashi Miike who made Dead or Alive 1, 2, and 3 (no relation whatsoever to the video game). He is also working on a samurai flick with Takeshi Kitano (aka Beat Takeshi) who was in Boiling Point, Violent Cop, Brother and an assload of other movies. By reading the descriptions of these movies on these websites you will have no idea of the insanity that lies with in them. You have to see to believe them. These 2 guys are awesome. Where Hollywood is churning out so so flicks as of late Japan and China are kicking in to high gear churning out some sweet flicks by guys just like Miike and Takeshi. One of the latest films to come out is a movie called Battle Royale. This is a cool movie. The plot may have huging gaping holes in it but any movie that has junior highschool kids fighting to the death in a survivor style tournament is awesome in my book. I just watched the trailer (first link at the top) for the sequel and I am touching myself as we speak. I don't even know japanese but whatever it was they were saying made my pee pee hard. Hard like this
